BODY MEASURES
SHIRT MEASUREMENTS
1. COLLAR
2. CHEST
Measure
around lower neck where collar usually sits, and add one inch to measurement to
proper fit.
Measure
around upper part of body chest, under armholes.

WAIST

HIP
Measure
around the waistline, approximately eight inches below armhole.
Measure
around hip.

CUFFS

SLEEVES
Measure
around wrist where watch is usually worn. If you wear a bulky watch on wrist add
appropriate allowance for that arm.
Measure
from the soulder drop, until the lower wrist or desired length. Left and right
sleeve can be different length.

YOKE

SHIRT LENGTH
Measure accross shoulder
until drop of arm.
Measure
from below back of collar until desired length.
1. COLLAR
2. CHEST
Lay
the collar flat and measure from the center of the collar button to the far end
of the buttonhole.
Button
the shirt and lay it flat. Then measure from left seam to right seam just below
the sleeves.

WAIST

HIP
With
the shirt laid flat, measure from left seam to right seam at the waistline.
With
the shirt laid flat, measure from left seam to right seam at the base of the shirt.

SLEEVES
Lay
a sleeve flat and measure from a side to the other.
Lay
a sleeve flat and measure on the outer part of it (opposite to the sleeve seam)
from the edge of the shoulder (starting at the seam) to the end of the cuff.
7. SHOULDER

Measure the distance between
sleeve and collar along the shoulder seam.
Measure
the distance between the sleeves, from one edge of the shoulder to the other,
across back.

SHIRT LENGTH
Lay
a cuff flat and measure it from one end to the other.
Measure
the length of the shirt, straight from the back collar seam to the base of the
shirt.
